Courses and Training

To become an accredited BARS Auditor you need to first complete the BARS Auditor Accreditation Course.

A range of aviation safety related training programs is offered as part of the overall BARS program aimed at personnel from both BARS member organizations and BARS registered aircraft operators.  The first training program introduced as part of the program is the Aviation Coordinator Training Course (AVCO)

The other main course on offer is the BARS Auditor Accreditation Course. A course to provide training to experienced aviation auditors on how to conduct an aircraft operator audit using the Basic Aviation Risk (BAR) Standard audit protocol. Successful completion of this two day course is a pre-requisite to becoming a BARS Accredited Auditor.
