Billy Nolen assumed the role of FAA acting administrator on April 1 and now leads an organization of more than 40,000 aviation professionals. He joined FAA in early 2022 as associate administrator of aviation safety after most recently serving as vice president for Safety, Security and Quality at WestJet Airlines. Nolen will talk with Flight Safety Foundation President and CEO Dr. Hassan Shahidi. During their conversation, the two are expected to discuss the status of aviation safety issues within the United States and around the world.
