Become a BARS Accredited Auditor
BARS Accredited Auditors are a critical component for the safety of operations and the quality of the BARS Program as they ensure operator compliance with the standards that the BARS Member Organization develop.
BARS Accredited Auditors are competent aviation specialists and subject matter experts. The cadre of BARS Accredited Auditors comes with a diverse range of operational experience ensuring that the experience within the program matches the requirements of BARS Member Organizations and aircraft operators. Only trained and experienced auditors with strong aviation experience can become BARS Accredited Auditors.
Application process
To ensure the program aligns with the expectations of BARS Member Organizations and Aircraft Operators only trained and experienced individuals with strong aviation backgrounds will be considered for accreditation.

Interested participants must complete the the Profile Form HERE
Application Process
• Application is reviewed by the BARS Team
• Candidate is advised of eligibility for BARS Auditor training
• Upon successful completion of the BARS Auditor Accreditation course, and employment with a registered BARS Audit Company, the candidate can conduct BARS audits
RPAS Auditor accreditation
This applies to the status as an RPAS-only BARS auditor and the accreditation does not permit BARS auditing of other than RPAS operators.
To attain accreditation as a BARS RPAS Auditor requires:
- holding an RPAS pilot license (RPL)
- Completion of the BARS Auditor Accreditation training (including satisfying the lead auditor prerequisites)
- Completion of BARS RPAS online eLearn training module regarding the BARS RPAS standards
- Engage work with one of the BARS Audit Companies to achieve BARS auditing exposure as an observer (non-RPAS audit) and final approval as a BARS RPAS auditor.
