6th annual Singapore Aviation Safety Seminar

Cancellation of the Singapore Aviation Safety Seminar (SASS 2020)

March 17 – 20, 2020
Singapore

The 6th Singapore Aviation Safety Seminar (SASS), jointly organized by the Flight Safety Foundation and Singapore Aviation Academy, scheduled for March 17-20, 2020 has been cancelled in light of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak of the 2019-nCoV a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. The Singapore Ministry of Health is currently working robustly with stakeholders and the community to manage the risk of the virus in Singapore.

SASS usually brings together an estimated 200 local and international participants. However, with the rapidly evolving situation of the 2019-nCoV outbreak, we have made this decision to cancel the seminar. The health and safety of our participants remains our top priority.

The cancellation of the seminar will also allow the participants to concentrate on implementing their business continuity plans and putting in place measures to manage the virus situation in their own country.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support for this event. We look forward to welcoming you back in Singapore at the next SASS in 2021.
