Flight Safety Foundation has reserved a block of sleeping rooms (single or double occupancy) at The Mandarin Oriental, Taipei for conference participants at the special group rate of US $240.00/night, not inclusive of taxes. Room reservations can be made online or over the phone at +886 2 2715 6888 to take advantage of our special group rate. Included in room rate is in-room high speed internet access and breakfast for one at Cafe Un Deux Trois. This hotel block will sell out so please make your reservations early!
The cut-off date has been extended to Tuesday, October 25, 2019. After the cut-off date, it is at the hotel’s discretion whether to accept additional reservations at the group rate, which will be subject to prevailing rates and availability.

Mandarin Oriental has transportation services available. All services require prior reservations made at least one day prior to the arrival day. Cancellation less than 24 hours and No Show will results in a fee of 100% of the transportation charges. The hotel airport representative will greet you at the Arrival Hall after clearing customs.

Taxi Service
All Taxis can be found outside of the Arrival Halls of both terminals, at the west side. Most taxi drivers cannot speak English, and it will be necessary for non-Mandarin speakers to have their destination written down in Mandarin.

Travel documentation requirements: Passports and Visas
Participants who will travel to IASS 2019 from outside of Taiwan, should consult the Taiwan Embassy or Consulate in their country of citizenship for more information on passport, visa, and other applicable entry requirements. Participants are responsible for obtaining the necessary entry documents. If you require an original invitation letter from Flight Safety Foundation to obtain a visa, please allow 4 weeks for receipt.
