FSF NewsJuly 27, 2010FSF and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency are sponsoring a workshop for senior aviation officials from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam at The Stanford Court Renaissance San Francisco on August 2 and 3, 2010. The workshop will provide an overview of the safety and security requirements needed for non-U.S. air carriers to gain approval for direct commercial airline operations to the United States, including a review of the FAA’s International Aviation Safety Assessment program. April 7, 2010The International Air Safety Seminar (IASS) 2010 was originally scheduled to start on Monday November 1, 2010 but has been moved back a day and the seminar will now begin on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 and end on Friday, November 5, 2010. April, 5, 2010The Business Aviation Safety Seminar (BASS-Asia) 2010 was originally scheduled to be held on April 13–14, 2010 but has been postponed and will now be held on November 10–11, 2010 in Singapore.
