FSF and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency are sponsoring a workshop for senior aviation officials from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam at The Stanford Court Renaissance San Francisco on August 2 and 3, 2010. The workshop will provide an overview of the safety and security requirements needed for non-U.S. air carriers to gain approval for direct commercial airline operations to the United States, including a review of the FAA’s International Aviation Safety Assessment program.
