Beijing, China, November 2, 2009 — The Flight Safety Foundation announced today that Lynn Brubaker was elected Chair of the Board by the Board of Governors at its annual fall meeting in Beijing, China. Her term will officially begin today.
Ms. Brubaker brings 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry to this position. She served 10 years in executive leadership roles at Honeywell International. Prior to that, she spent ten years as an executive at Douglas Aircraft, McDonnell Doulas Corporation. She started her career at ComAir and Northwest Airlines.
Ms. Brubaker currently serves as a Member of the Boards for Hexcel Corporation (NYSE/PCX: HXL), a $1.2B multi-national company in leading advance materials and technology, Faro Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: FARO), the world’s leading provider of portable measurement and imaging solutions, The Nordam Group, the largest private aerospace company in high technology manufacturing and repair, and Graham Partners, a US private equity firm focused on middle market manufacturing companies. Other experiences include current roles as an advisor, executive coach and consultant for several companies ranging from multi-national, multi-industry and high technology manufacturing companies.
