In the aftermath of a two-hour halt to aircraft departures from U.S. airports in January, two high-profile runway incursions and other operational issues, U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acting Administrator Billy Nolen said Wednesday that he will convene a safety team to review the situation and determine what action is needed to maintain the aviation industry’s safety record.
