Of more than 5,000 airports in the United States, just 30 serve 70 percent of all air travelers, according to a new report by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), which recommends increasing flights from many underutilized airports as part of a plan to improve the safety, accessibility and affordability of regional travel.
