Inaccurate Weather Information Prompts NTSB Call for Change

Citing an accident investigation that found that an automated weather station’s information had “at times … not been accurate for weeks,” the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has called on agencies responsible for the stations to authorize action to handle  erroneous reports by malfunctioning sensors.
