Managing Director – BARS Program
David Anderson is the Managing Director for the Flight Safety Foundation’s BARS Program. His previous role in the BARS Program was as Audit Manager. David has over 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry starting as an apprentice mechanic in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) progressing to aircraft maintenance then as a flight engineer both with the RAAF and with a major commercial air carrier. David also holds a commercial pilot licence. He is a Lead Auditor with experience with the BARS, IOSA, ISAGO and QMS audit protocols. David also has extensive experience and training in safety and quality management systems, risk and project management and audit standardization.
Audit Manager – BARS Program
Peter joined the aviation industry as a rotary wing pilot, spurred on by a long held desire to fly. He has performed a wide range of tasks, including external load, geophysical survey, media, and surf lifesaving.
