Alexandria, VA, September 24, 2015 – Flight Safety Foundation announced today that Richard Anderson, CEO of Delta Air Lines, will be the keynote speaker at its 68th annual International Air Safety Summit. Mr. Anderson will give his speech during the opening session of IASS on Nov. 2.
Mr. Anderson will discuss building and maintaining a culture with safety as the most important focus, and how to ensure that this culture resonates at all levels of the organization.
“As one of the most important carriers in the United States and around the world, Delta has a tradition of safety and of sharing that safety knowledge with its partners,” noted FSF President and CEO Jon Beatty. “We are honored to have Mr. Anderson join us and open up IASS 2015 with the keynote speech, and I know that our attendees will be interested in what he has to say.”
This year’s IASS will be held at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami, Florida, U.S., on Nov. 2–4 (note the Monday–Wednesday schedule for 2015). “We have an excellent agenda focusing on some of the most timely issues facing aviation safety today, and I’m confident that our attendees will leave Florida very satisfied with the content and experience,” Beatty continued.
