Regulatory agencies from the United States, Canada, Brazil and Europe have signed a charter agreement establishing the Certificate Management Team, which will “oversee and manage collaboration efforts to permit the development and implementation of regulatory and policy solutions common to certification issues and support greater harmonization of our systems.” Details on the effort can be be found in an Aug. 29 letter to the aviation community singed by officials from Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). ATW Online also had an article on the subject Sept. 1.
