The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Monday announced that Indonesia complies with International Civil Aviation Organization safety standards in its oversight of civil aviation and has been granted Category 1 status in FAA’s International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) program. FAA had lowered its rating of Indonesia’s oversight capability in April 2007. More details are available here.
