The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed a grant agreement with the government of Nepal to provide up to ¥1.452 billion ($14 million) in aid for aviation safety facilities and other equipment at eight major airports in Nepal, according to a JICA press release. Among the eight airports is Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, which is the country’s only international airport.
