The government of Zimbabwe is restructuring the country’s Civil Aviation Authority to separate regulatory and airport management functions, according to a report in The Herald, which quoted President Robert Mugabe as saying, “This will not only enhance safety and security compliance, but will also provide scope for private sector participation in airport operations.”
