The ongoing partial shutdown of the U.S. government because of a lapse in funding has forced the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to postpone the unveiling of its 2019–2020 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements.
The event, which had been scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the National Press Club (NPC) in Washington, has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the NPC. Further information is not currently available on the NTSB’s website, which is not being updated because of the funding lapse. In addition, NTSB’s Twitter account is not being actively used or monitored.
Accidents still can be reported to the Response Operations Center at 202-314-6290.
