The crew of the Propair Beech King Air A100, which had been dispatched to Wemindji Airport in Quebec, Canada, to begin a medical evacuation flight, touched down slightly left of the centerline on Runway 28. The left landing gear and left propeller struck a berm of snow that extended the entire length of the runway, and the airplane veered left, off the runway, and traveled about 45 ft (14 m) before stopping.
