Dr. Olumuyiwa Bernard Aliu was re-elected today for a second three-year term as president of the ICAO Council, the International Civil Aviation Organization announced. His second term will begin on Jan. 1, 2017. Aliu previously served as Nigeria’s representative on the Council from Jan. 1, 2005, to Dec. 31, 2013. He succeeded Robert Kobeh González as president of the Council on Jan. 1, 2014.
