The pilots of an Air France Boeing 777, surprised by the airplane’s greater-than-expected left bank and its deviation from the flight path, briefly applied simultaneous opposite control inputs during a go-around at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, according to the French Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses (BEA).
