by FSF Communications Staff | July 10, 2017

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Flight Safety Foundation congratulates Ali Bahrami, who was sworn in Monday to his new post as associate administrator for aviation safety at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The Foundation wishes him all the best as he takes on one of the most important roles in aviation safety.

“Mr. Bahrami’s more than 35 years in aviation, including extensive experience in both industry and government, will serve him well in his new position,” said Jon Beatty, president and CEO of Flight Safety Foundation. “The Foundation has a long history of working with FAA and aviation organizations around the world, and we look forward to continuing that tradition with Mr. Bahrami as together we advance the cause of aviation safety.”
