The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), citing the “potential severity” of six runway incursions at U.S. airports this year, is calling on airlines, pilots and others to take specific steps to guard against similar future incidents.
The agency says its action was prompted by a rash of runway incursions at U.S. airports.
