Drone Advisory Committee to Meet Sept. 16

by Frank Jackman | September 1, 2016

The RCTA Drone Advisory Committee (DAC) will hold its first meeting on Sept. 16 in Washington, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced. The DAC is chaired by Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel Corp. and comprises representatives from a wide array of National Airspace System users. “We know from experience that the FAA’s polices and overall regulation of small unmanned aircraft will be more successful if we involve a strong and diverse coalition,” FAA Administrator Michael Huerta said in announcing the first meeting.
